hi just made a heat shield and ran a air in take what yous think

I was going to take a cold air feed pipe to the lower grill too.. but this talk on ukmivs about water can get in engine stuff has put me off.. :lipsrsealed:

As above, get a proper heat shield, it will be more effective and won't look like someone's dropped their sandwich into your engine bay :grin:
What did you use for the cold air feed and where did you get it from?
I was going to take a cold air feed pipe to the lower grill too.. but this talk on ukmivs about water can get in engine stuff has put me off.. :lipsrsealed:
For it to suck water up you'd have to drive through a huge puddle and completely submerge the filter, anyone who does that deserves to have their engine flooded :grin:

Ive also got a hs for sale juat been powdercoated satin black and has an extra hole for a cold air feed :)

What if just take it down the hole next to the headlight would it still get better air through you reckon. As for puddles sometimes the fu ckas cant be avioded lol whenever it rains heavy there is a huge puddle at the entrance of my work car park ...like a mini lake :angry:

the heat shield is for the manifold not the filter i will be making something for the filter soon :smiley:
