Anyone selling a 2.0 8v gti engine loom and ecu ?
-
there's 3 different 2.0 8v - which one you after?
2e, ady, agg ?
-
It's for engine swap mate so don't really matter or does it ?
-
Iv got one on a donee car u can buy off me but us have take off yourself
-
depends on what your after....
you wrote: engine loom and ecu - since there's no comma i assume you're after an engine loom and an ecu...
not an engine, a loom and an ecu
if you're after only loom and ecu they need to match the engine you have. if you're after a complete engine with bits then doesn't really matter too much.

I have 1.8 cl at the moment I want to do engine swap to a 2l 8v so I am going to need engine/loom/ecu.
-
I'll be honest, not worth the hassle for an 8V swap. You can buy 8V cheap. Plus it'll have gti brakes and all that crap on it too.
If it was me, I'd just buy an 8V GTI.

You're talking about an easy done in a day swap. I'd say it's worth it all day long.

one key, vital point here. above and beyond how long to do, how easy to do etc etc etc etc
Condition of the SHELL you intend putting any engine into ?
any rust ?
-
My shell really clean and the cars how I want it to look. For me it's worth doing swap 1 so I keep car and 2 I can say I have done a swap lol
-
in that case you need a VR6 lump
-
got a 20e engine loom & ecu just missing dizzy if u require?..

It is a lot of work for a 15bhp gain

After owning a 1.8 SPI, I can assure you it is far more than a 15BHP gain. Was probably the slowest engine of all time and my 1.6 MPI ran rings all round it. 2.0 8v MPI FAAAAR quicker.
