As above which would you buy, which would be better in the wet, etc??
-
Toyo's :afro: Nankang's are ditch finders and the worst tyres I have ever used.
-
Toyos.
-
both sh!t
but nankangs are just dangerous
-
In my experience the only good thing that can be said about Nangkangs is they give AMAZING mileage... probably because they don't wear themselves out with any of this "gripping the road" nonsense
S.M.
-
In dry and hot weather the Nankangs aren't too bad, but in every other scenario they're garbage.
-
Get the rainsports. Cost tiny bit more than toyo but a better tyres
-
Falkens!
-
Just put 4 toyo proxies on my mk 3 seem fine after 2 weeks

Agreed.
-
Uniroyal Rainsport 2's :afro:
Had them on my Golf for a few years now and they are great!
-
Nankangs r out of the picture now. I've still got a week to decide between toyos and uniroyal rainsports.
-
Well if they're the options I'd go for the Uniroyal now.
-
Rainsports all day long
but they dont do them in size I run so I use toyo or yoko paradas
-
.... and not even looking at other tyres will be having Rainsports fitted to the new wheels next week!
Mine will be 205/45/16 and at around 80 quid a wheel not bad.
