any good recommendations for cars that fit 3 baby seats at the back? ages 6, 4, and newborn...
-
Skoda superb
can get push chair in the back and a big shop. Its really big inside too. Has a umbrella in the door too
-
Oh dear, 3 is not the magic number when it comes to children and cars.
Time to buy a Multipla.
-
Volvo V70R
-
Caravelle or Sharan/Alhambra.
Or a Discovery if you have endless patience and a large budget for repairs.
-
come on guys, you are killing me here... what about a plain (not so old) gti... Anybody who managed to fit in 3 seats??

Touran

You're never going to do it in the best way possible, which is three ISOFix mounts across the back - the Caravelle and Sharan definitely do have that (Touran might too).
Peugeot 806 too - you're a lucky kinda guy!

V70 R...

You're life is over, time to Multipla up!!

Although I like them they are a money pit, I am still banned from owning Volvo's
They are cavernous inside, but you cant beat a 960 or a V90 for rear seat space (not including flip ups in boot)
You can get an Ikea flat pack on the back seat and an army of Kids, with 200bhp under your right foot for tail out action when driving solo.
Monstrous barge & hated by bikers, I still love a proper Volvo
just get a multipla or one of those new fiat 500's on steriods

could fit three child seats and a load of shopping and a few prams in the back of my van :)

Touran does, and no saloon/ hot hatch back breaking bending down with seats/lifting/buckling in.

My dad managed 3 in his mk2 Scirocco back in the day...was a tight squeeze mind...illegal obviously due to lack of rear centre 'lap' belt...

you had seats... we were lucky to have belts in the back!!
oh and I have looked at a touran and I dont think 3 seats will fit that easy on the rear seat (excluding the seats in the boot) also the Sharan does have integrated child seats which will do older children (my 5 year old brother uses them)
I am also looking as the Golf is too small with the wife, 13 , 9 and 2 year old! why can't we go back to the 80's and let kids ride in the boot?

i am confident that 2 boosters and a stage 2 seat will fit just fine in the gti. I am having a test next week and will get back with (hopefully) triumphant pictures.
