ok, so im going to get my thermostat replaced on saturday and taking the advice of people from the forum, im also going to replace the temp sender and coolant.
ive read somewhere some time ago that you need to ideally replace the rubber O rings with the temp sender or something like that.
can anybody tell me exactly what i need to buy in total as i dont want to go out and buy a few bits and pieces and think... " i should have bought one of those "

I'm going to get the guy to drain all the old coolant anyway and get a nice fresh batch in there

Go to VW and buy two bottles of g13, that's the new g12

Do I need a rubber o ring for the temp sender aswell as one for the thermostat. Also the guy said that if I'm replacing the thermostat , temp sender and coolant, I might aswell replace the rad switch.
What is the rad switch and do I need to replace it ?

Bump
-
no you dont need a rad switch unless the fans dont work
