Title: Corrado 2.0 16v ISV

Is this my ISV, located right side of the head infront of dizzy?

Car idles at 3-4k... unplugged it idles fine but doesnt like throttle

Could be.  Why not give us a photo of it in situ so we can see where it should be?

Has a pipe coming from the air inlet and from the cold start 5th injector??

Nice strong engine but its idling is either too low or waaaay to high. Ive been adjusdting the screw on the throttle accordingly but this is a temp fix

If your constantly adjusting it then you need to get another idle screw with the o ring on it from vw.

I though that, but start from cold it will idle too high (and bouncy) until turned off then start again it will be too low (cut out) unless throttle held for a few seconds. then will hold a 8-900rpm tickover

Ive tried air leaks but this would give a constant problem not an on/off problem?
New coolant temp switch (genuine vw)
