Hi just started to play around with my ed35 and just wondering what make and model d/v I need .is the std one that bad  it,car is running stage 1 remap and soon milltek tbc -

the forge one needs maintaing, if not can seize

in reality forge stuff has never floated my boat, later VW ones are up to the job and around £50 to replace

Yeah stick with stock.
Revision D has been very reliable with very few problems.
Some people say to use the latest revision G type which isa new version of the diaphram type as it holds boost better.
On my last car I tried both and stuck with the original revision D piston type.
