Title: adding G60 to a k-jet 8v
Post by: Dizzie on 13 October 2003, 20:52
can I just add the charger + various pipes and an intercooler and have a superchargered car?
can u add a dump valve?
is there anything else I need to know? I guess I have to lower the compression?

As a guess - theoretically yes, but in practise you wouldn't want to try it.

I believe the G60 block is the same, and the head is 8v, but I would reckon thats about where the similarities end.

It would be easier to find a G60 from a broken Corrado. They are around.

yeah I was thinking that route after talking to a few people about it and I'd need to upgrade lots of other bits.

Can I use my existing loom, etc from the K-jet if I got a G60 from a corrado do you know?

cheers.
