Hi guys, I have late 92 mk2 gti 8v. when left idling after a few minutes it will bring up the oil light flashing on and off , and also do the same with the temp.
the car has a full service history.
it isn't loosing any oil or water or over heating. could this be a faulty sensor? or can anyone help.

sounds sensor related but best getting it checked  :smiley:

TBH the sensors are cheap & easy to replace , so give it a go first

my oil light used to flash ,i thought it was low oil pressure , but turned out to be the sensor
the original VW ones are supposed to be better quality allegedly  :smiley:
