Might get a quicker response if you put this in the mk4 tdi section.Not sure whats causing that noise but hope its nothing to bad  :huh:

That one cam lobe looks worn and misshapen. Struggling to see much else to diagnose though!

  I got heavy duty cam, lifter and shells for £185.
bolts £60, :sick:
 doing the job my self on Monday.
I will post once done

I'm pretty sure that is a great price. How tough a job was it? Was the timing not out?
