Title: high pitched whine after fitting intercooler

Fitted one of them turborevs smic yesterday. Since doing so i can hear a very hig pitched noise along side the turbo noise.. kind of sounds tinny if you knoq what i mean. Any ideas folks?

have you split any hoses since fitting the cooler?

is it always there or only when on boost?

All the time. No loss in power tho. All hoses r fine

definately sounds like a leak, check around where the TIP meets the Turbo (if its an aftermarket one)
when you push down on the piping that comes near the TIP when fitting the intercooler piping it can push the TIP away from the turbo side leaving a small gap.... seen it a few times now

Its not an aftermarket tip. Ill be fitting that this weekend so can see then

Are you sure all the jubilee clips are tight you fitted when fitting the intercooler
