Ok, so I think that the GTI should have a slightly bigger voice than it does, but I'm not looking for to much additional disturbance in the cabin.
Is the resonated (quieter) version of Milltek still louder than the standard exhaust? I'm after a nice bass note rather than a vtec banshee scream.
How much louder is the non-resonated version?
I've listened to a few sound clips/videos online but you don't get a real idea of the volume/note.

I have a Milltek non-res cat back for my mk6 gti and would highly recommend it. off boost it's as quiet as the standard exhaust, but once you hit 3k rpm it sounds amazing.
unfortunately I don't have any videos but I will guarantee you won't be disappointed.
I'd also approach Awesome GTi in Manchester when purchasing, they are the ones to beat on pricing.

or look at the two for sale in the classifieds here...

I test drive a resonated and it sounded the same as standard if not quieter
I have non res and it sounds spot on for me.
I'm not into loud cars and this sounds spot on. It's no louder at motorway speeds or on a steady throttle just a bit more meaty when accelerating. It's a very refined exhaust which suits the car.
I might be selling mine as I'm giving the car to the mrs as I have a new toy (which I am putting a milltek on)

I have a resonated CBE on my car and I love it.
It is a touch louder than stock and gives the exhaust a much deeper note on idle. When pushing the revs up it sounds lovely. If you want something more noticeable get a non-res, but because I do some miles on the motorway I didn't want anything that would be intrusive. Personally would not change my choice...resonated all the way

has anyone does a resonator delete. I have seen a lot of videos on YouTube and they sound pretty decent - its either that or a No Res Miltek for me in the next coming weeks
