Fitted the RNS-510 which I'm sure by audiophile standard isn't the best , but I was wondering if there was a straight swap speaker upgrade option?
Not looking to start carving the car to bits so if nothing's available I'll live with them.

I love audio, and always usually upgrade, but i think the standard speakers in the GTI are pretty decent with the RNS510....

You can fit 6.5 inch components, but you will also need
Speaker pod adaptors and wiring adaptors as well, not
Really worth doing if your not going to amplify them, imo
As already mentioned the standard speakers are decent.

Focal do a front door kit especially for the mk6 which comes with a tweeter in a housing so looks quite OEM.

Really, I am completely disappointed by the sound quality in my mk6, the music really lacks any depth of sound, My Leon FR by comparison was fantastic sounding.
Would love to hear how good the dynaudio set up is.

Dynaudio is well worth the money.

Just adding a nice sub can often sharpen up the sound, takes the strain off the mids/ bass.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not looking to start adding subs or similar so if the general consensus is that the standards are actually pretty good i'll stick with them and spend the money elsewhere. Cue next post
