Title: mk4 gti seats?

Hi, new to site and wondering does mk4 golf seats fit mk3 without much trouble??

From memory the mk3 mounts completely different to the mk4. would need some welding to fit the correct front piece and I have no idea if the runners will match up on the floor.

mk1/2/3 are the same I think, but mk4 completely different.

(If I'm wrong I apologise, it's been many years since I last worked on mk2/3 golfs)
