Title: Smd side light bulbs?

Anyone used them, the bay is full of em and hid's but are they any good and are they legal?

most of them on ebay are really poor quality.. just stick with bulbs in my opinion.

This. They give off the different colour, which is probably deseriable, but the light output it shocking. Stick with standard.  :smiley:

So what would people suggest for light "upgrades"?

no point in "upgrading" side light bulbs unless it`s for other peoples benefit. youre not really going to see the road better with them and i think led sidelights look sh!t.
HID headlights would be illegal in your headlamps so dont even consider them.
you could upgrade your dipped and main beam bulbs to something like osram nightbreakers.

The mk6 dims are VERY bright

Check out last page my builf thread from my sig. I have smd leds in they are veryy bright :cool:
