Title: MK4/Audi TT shift tower
Post by: Bellend on 22 May 2013, 20:11
Will this go on a VR6 for a better feel?

Think I'll bite the bullet and order a new clutch master cylinder so I know it's good as well. Looks like the pedal box is set up for it.

Don't you need to swap the complete 02J shift system to utilise the tower ie. gearstick, cables etc?

There was a decent thread about this on here not long ago.

Yer you need the shifter and cables from the car and I think the bit that bolts in the gearbox.
It's annoying as between me and my mate we have scrapped 2 sets of these in the last 6 months and now we both could do with them.

The 02A cable shift feel is notoriously sh!te.
