Use little water. Smells like burn oil mate. Thinking head gasket ?

check if oil in water or vice versa.
but not thinking that it's the head gasket just from that.

could be more like a leaking water flange and the valve stem seals that allow oil to drip into cylinder when the engine is not running. when you start it it blows out the back...

Just been out and run the car on tick over for 15 mins white smoke the full time and went up just over half on temp and fan kicked in. Would a head gasket do this ?

White smoke is a sign that water is in the combustion chamber, so sounds like a head gasket issue.

maybe try a cheap fix with some radiator sealant or something of that nature. some say thos can clog the system but headgasket is expensive to repair. my car smokes the same on startup and most likjely is the headgasket. i have had it pressuretested when warm and it is ok, but not tested from stone cold. you may destroy your water pump but unless you can do the job yourself might be worth a go. don't know how others feel about this sort of advice as tjis may only be a temporary fix which could go wrong...

I think it's the stem seals the more I smell it went on tick over it smells like burn oil and the car only go up to 90 on temp.
