Title: Anyone using Nos on there mk3
Post by: willz94 on 21 May 2013, 15:07
Been looking at the street blaster kits and they seem decent bhp-£ considering the price to fill a bottles isn't bad, just wondering if anyone here is shooting?

Good fun but it'll find any weakness in your motor, best used on uprated and freshly re-built engines.

I think my vr is in okay nick at the mo but I was planning on buying a 2.9 to rebuild anyway so I could have a play till it goes bang then fit it to a rebuild 2.9

I did think seriously about it then I thought would I actually use it in normal driving?
I mean think about it when would you actually need it? Overtaking. So as well as checking its OK to go you also have to flick a switch. Hmmmm overtaking these days is dangerous enough I think!
