Howdo  got my replacement engine to fit and was wondering what was the easiest way to take it out?
I've got access to a set of lifting ramps, so my theory was to drop the engine and gear box still attached to the subframe on the floor, lift car up then fit new engine and reverse steps?
What have others done?
Thanks

Id say your better off dropping the subframe getting it out of the way along with the driveshafts. The whole front end comes off pretty easy so just crane it out the front.

that's how ide of thought it would be easiest taking it out the front rather than below... chances are your going to take the bumpers etc off for access anyway.

This is by far easier..... And quicker

Having recently done this, We whipped the front end off,
Undone both the drive shafts at the flanges, disconnected everything and pulled it out the front.
Didn't touch the subframe at all.
