Title: Hello folks newbie here and got a problem already!!!!

Hi all just joined the forum, got a mk4 golf gti only had it 4 days and needs a lambda sensor already!!!!!!!  :embarrassed:

my fuel is terrible put £20 and only managed to do 57 miles!!!!!! Been told that replacing the lambda sensor will increase miles per gallon does anyone know if this is true????
Or does anyone have any suggestions as to what else might be causing such horrendous miles per gallon????
