Title: gear knob removal/fitment....

is there a knack to this got a replacement as leather split on mine, wifey gotta do it and there not screw types!!

Its attached to the leather gaitor... the plastic surround unclips off the centre console, pull it up over the knob and you'll see a brass circlip that you have to open up a bit with pliers or a screwdriver. Once the clip is open enough the knob just pulls off.

Then just slide the new knob on and close up the circlip to fix it in place.

I did my mates the other week, and its not always that easy tho is it toph :embarassed: P@ssed me right off it did :wink:
