Why doesn't VW use colour coded shark fins with the new Golf? Would look sharper and blend in better if they did. Other top marques have them. Surely it doesn't save them that much money to keep it plain black plastic?

Are we talking about the shark fins on the front bumper? I think the black set's them off nicely against the car's main colour.
