100% crap then. They say that EVERY time an FF movie gets released. They have ALL been terrible!
-
quality film, as said some stuff is over the top, the runway scene is too long lol. but i would complain if it was 30 seconds long so i'm happy. worth a watch, looking forward to 7 more as i looooooove drift.

some of it was filmed in glasgow an im sure a few other parts of the uk
-
Bedford hangers also. Those mk1 escorts were thrown together anyway
-
The Escorts are  they used genuine parts too, Arch kits etc. not so thrown together really as each car cost 12 - 15k and their was 6 of them
-
The cars I saw down longcross test track were terrible up close. They get battered in the film sets anyway I guess

thought you might be as some of the bits dont come cheap
-
Iv done all the work myself so saved their on labour, but the parts list price is near that figure
I got some rare bits on my engine, ad the gearbox was £1500 to build...
-
The Mk1's used were certainly not thrown together as per Blue seems to think, they were seriously swwet cars to start with

Really enjoyed the film! Parts of it seemed more like a comedy judging by the reaction of the audience and me!
-
The film is well worth a watch. Dont let the others put you off.
-
its a film franchise that's not to be taken seriously. I think they are great and cant wait to watch 6

Be the last to leave the carpark and watch everyone race out like rally drivers.

Honda civic was at my local cinema lol

I watched 3 corsas spank it out but the funny part was the cop car coming down at the same time and the 3 lads sh!t themselves

I really enjoyed it, I will say there were a couple of flat spots that bored me but for the most part it was enjoyable. It is what it is, and at least they aren't using tricked up decalled cars anymore and actually have some good cars on there.
By the way, how long was that runway at the end! Think about it...
-
Don't believe everything you see on the net. It's a movie set remember.
Yes they have 1 nice car - the rest are thrown together for the set
-
actually enjoyed it, i made the comment about the runway mid way through that chase / fight / plane scene lol
some cool cars, some bad acting, the Rock tag teaming with Vin and doing some kind of WWF clothes line move.
Whats not to like?
-
It was of course utter sh!te but a good kind of sh!te
Anyone else think that Rita Ora looks like a sex doll? :lipsrsealed:

I did the same thing. It's a fookin long runway haha. That tag team with them both was funny, WWF indeed.
-
I watched it last night. It was cheesy, but still a great film!
Funny I walked out of the cinema saying to my mates, that was the longest runway EVER!

Did you notice they conveniently reach the end of the runway when the plane comes down?
-
Yeah I noticed that too
-
Why didn't Han go back they weren't that high she could of survived lol.

There is always going to be plot-holes like that. Worst case scenario for her was she grazed her head when hitting the ground.
I enjoyed the tube fight scene, that guy was hard as nails! haha!
Police office: "Oi, stop right there!" (in typical London accent).
-
Someone always dies. Like the last films

9 Coronas out of 10
9 NOS bottles out of 10
9 upshifts out of 10
9 "menagé!"s out of 10
You'll need more than 9 crotch rockets out of 10

I may have enjoyed this film.
The one thing that has definately got better is the quality of the fight scenes,
Tube station fight(s)
Prison fight
Brawl on the plane

and flying headbutts!

Just seen it, thought it was pretty rubbish tbh. I actually used to like these films as they were actually about the cars. Seems they have sold out and are now happy to put in boring black BMW's and use loads of cars as advertisements and just make it an action film. Add to that the fact they are putting that nob who turns up at the end in the next film, utter garbage. please bring back Skylines and a bit of car chat rather than huge explosions and product placement to appeal to the drones. Don't even get me started on a Range Rover keeping up with a GTR.
