Hi all,
So my Key Fobs don't work, I've changed the batteries to no avail. I can lock and unlock all the doors using the arm panel buttons fine. That's what I'm needing to do every time I lock the car.
The lock barrel seems to be broken, I can turn the key both ways, it feels very loose. What's weird is that I can unlock the drivers door when I lock it with the Arm panel but this doesn't unlock all the other doors.
Also if I lock the car using the driver door and not the arm panel, it arms the alarm, however I then can't unlock the door and disarm the alarm (it pops back in place when it unlocks, I have to open the door before it relocks). this then sets the alarm off and put the key in the ignition.
Would a broken barrel stop the key fob from working?
