if it`s a hybrid, its not basically a k04, it`s a hybrid. it could have some k04 parts though. an 007p would be alot more beneficial on an aum unless its been mapped to suit.
what mods do you have to support stage 3 may i ask?.

hi what then is a hybrid with ko4 internals,ok jamie this is the spec mostly done by amd.stage 3 remap, forge splitter dv,forge tip, forge airfilter with jabbasport kit,and k&n silicon water block,n75h, 4bar fpr, uprated mass flow meter, uprated intercooler, uprated coil packs, uprated hoses, miltek cat back exhaust with  miltek hiflow catalyst, miltek sport large bore downpipe.all other mods on car suspension, brakes etc. incidently  a 997 was changed for the splitter at amd.and as posted the ko3s turbo with k04 internals.           cheers guys don't worry about bein polite.

that`s what i have, a k03/s shell with k04 internals.. i suppose you could call it a k04.. or a modified k03  :undecided: i dunno...lol
a hybrid is usually taking a turbo and another turbo from the same family but higher spec and mounting either the compresser or turbine to each other.. a bit like a fox shagging a wolf i guess.
you start with something small and shy, cross breed it with a beast and you get a mongrel of a turbo.
usually combining best of both worlds. for example, fast spooling of a small turbo and high flowing of a big turbo. you wont get the same power as the big turbo would produce but then you wont have as much lag as the big turbo either..
catch my drift?
