Title: Alarm
Post by: mattjholmes2002 on 13 May 2013, 23:33
Hi, i have a 3dr mk4 gt tdi golf, and the alarm at times is really p!$$!ng me off!!. When i go to put my son in his seat the bloody alarm goes off due to car relocking its self. On unlocking It gives me about 10 seconds before re-arming then going off. as im putting my son in car and having my hands full, having keys in my hand and struggling with him is not really an option. Is there any way of stopping this without removing alarm system? or can the re-arming time be changed??

Also am i right that it also has total closure? i read something on here a few days ago about holding down lock button on keyfob, and it should arm and close windows. I tried it, but did not seem to work.

Thanks in advance

Put your key in the ignition and turn it on, not necessarily the car, just one click will do.
