hi all been around awhile mk3 16v as my daily
but in jan 13 i got a 52000 mile 1.1 in very good nick been in a barn 12 years , so since getting it its been striped then very little needed doin to body so a bit of smoothing was done and painted..The engine bay has been cleaned up mount moved and smoothed ( never doing this again )just needs paint , ready for the kr 16v
which is having twin 40s (need inlet manifold.)...im going to need help with which ecu/stand alone manigment will be needed ??..
The cars had 16v rear disks fitted and fronts still lookin for a servo and mastecylinder have seen polo mk3 ones used on drivers side so no week links more info on this very welcome?? full set of strut braces and some polybushes coilovers,for now
inside its got a polised half roll cage and black cloth tombstones and as for the wheels it going to sit on compamotive rl1570s that are beening rerfurb at min by me black with polised lips never seen these wheels before all this work has been done in a 30ftby 30 ft lock up in the cold if you can help please do all info welcome thanks Lee

hi mate,
i have calipers for the 256mm discs that are 16v standard fitment on the front, im pretty sure you will need the 16v ecu to control spark.
if your fitting carbs you will have to look at how to route the top hose from the rad to the front water flange.
have a read of this, and the dipstick may also get in the way.

Thanks. It's got 16 v. Stuff on front was after info on servo swop ? and if Peaple used kr Ecu or a stand alone one. I'm thinking. Will be better but more ££ s

servo will bolt to existing mounting but you will nedd to cut down the threaded bolt at the back of the servo for it to work with the mk1 linkage, you will also need the clevis pin and fork off the mk1 servo
