right need 2 things answering (1.8t AUQ mk4 golf)
1st
some times when pulling away quick i get a really loud knock from the front. sounds like somthing snaps :huh: but when i check under the car every thing looks fine like i said it only happens now and again .it seems to happen after driving it slow then the first time i boot it it will knock then after that it wont happen :S i have AP coil-overs if that helps anyone
2nd
my traction control light came on the over day and stayed on so unplugged the MAF and plugged it back in and it went of and stayed of till today so i unplugged it again and it went of and stayed of dose this mean i need a new MAF ?

1st - Could be Dog Bone Bushes.. there hard to see if ya not looking for em..

2nd - Chances are its a ESP sensor on one of the wheels.. need a VagCom scan to determine which..

i did see that but did not check it opps will have a look tomoro will it be obv that it will need replacing ?

Grab it and see if theres any play in it... Mines solid now with Powerflex Bushes in.. was a slight amount of movement with standard bushes in tho..

Traction control light is probably MAF as you have suggested :wink:

If it is the bush in the dog bone the R32 dogbone mount is a good upgrade or you could get it poly bushed a bit harsher tho
