Title: vr6 head help

Im after a bit of help with the VR engine im building.
I bought the engine in pieces and the cam caps werent put back on the head when it was stripped, they were just in a bag, they are numbered from 1 to 7 which i assume is for a numerical order, the 8v and 16v that ive built in the past have been anyway.
What i need to know is, what order do they go in, as i said there are 7 caps in total but caps 6 and 7 are both end caps?
I think it could be     1   2   3  7
                               4   5    6
