Title: So, I bought a One...
Post by: Shady Pioneer on 08 May 2013, 13:39
Yeah that's right, Apple fanboi has bought an Android.

HTC One ticked all the right boxes and going to have a proper fiddle with it tonight.

iPhone 5 up for sale now.

I had a good play in the shop and was really impressed. Just hope it's as good to live with. I'm sure it will be.

I will be back later to report my findings after a proper play once it's set up (only arrived today Jay, jeez, give me some space!).

Absolutely not! I am a Mac boy through and through, but the iPhone has just bored me now.

I'll probably change my mind when the WWDC comes around in June  but my main reasoning was I wanted a quality phone (look and performance) along with a bigger screen. iPhone doesn't tick 2 of those boxes.

After using is for a couple of days, I can safely say I'm extremely happy with this phone. There is such a wealth of things and customization to be done that I don't know where to actually start.

I particularly enjoy my FREE 25GB Dropbox space that I can back my phone and all it's contents too.

Just going to have a good old fiddle this weekend, trying to find a way to easily sync it to my iTunes library as I have everything organised the way I like it (plus still use Apple TV, iPad etc.)

I'm not sure if Samsung still give you 50Gb free with the S4? That's been in-f**king-valuable! The dropbox app uploads all the pics and videos I take, automatically, which saves me time transferring them. I'm using 31.7% of the 57.8Gb of total Dropbox space I have, I bloody well hope HTC or Samsung carry on giving away free DB space when I upgrade next year !

I can see it being invaluable, I'd rather use on board memory for things like music and what not. 25GB is a lot in my opinion but not quite as much as 50GB!

I hardly ever use the cloud storage apps on my phone because anything I want to access is either on the web or on the phone already, I use them more often from the PC where they really are invaluable.
