Title: how far should the front strut sit in the hub

as above fitted my front fk's today just wanted to know how far should the strut sit in the lower hub???
I have mine sitting flush with the bottom of the hole / hub is this correct or doe's it need pushing in more???

It must be right or the bolt wouldn't go through the hole in the loop on the strut. ;)

if the pinch bolt goes through the tab then its in properly.

if its not in then put the front up on axle stands, jack under the wishbone, jack it up a little so theres pressure under the wishbone, then get a big screw driver/crowbar or something that you can lever the strut mount open with. (makes it a little easer to go in if you lube it up with copper slip or something)
