As you can see, 100% standard, it has full service history, little high mileage with 128k but runs as tight as a drum!
Got the Sarge home and was well happy with him, exactly what i wanted
So the list haha
-Full service including oil, plugs, filters as i want the car 100% before i start to play!
-New gear stick gator
-Recaro seats
-wheel spaces
-Window tints
-wind deflectors
-double din head unit
-coilovers
-machined disk brakes
-3" straight threw decat exhaust

Im sure they is a few more bits and bobs i have missed off
So i took the plastic cover off and found they was a fair bit of dirt under there, looks like they spilt the oil when topping up

Before
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/newgator.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/newgator.jpg.html)
After
-
I'm sure I will be seeing a fair bit of this car
-
Another black mk4 from Sheffield
Looks a good base :afro:
-
It is nice and tidy just a couple of scratches on the end of the door strips and that's it
Should polish up very nicely!
-
Rigggght then, got the sarge on the road a few days ago and a hectic few days they have been
for my birthday my friend golfyste got me 2 rear 15mm spaces so i fitted them, not a massive difference but i like them and just gives that wider stand look
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/spacescomparisment.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/spacescomparisment.jpg.html)
bottom is with spacers obvs
few pics with them on :)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/addedspacer.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/addedspacer.jpg.html)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/yellowfield.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/yellowfield.jpg.html)
Really like this one
So yesterday me and Ste got the car up, dropped the oil and changed the oil filter, also took the sump off because a few days before, i was driving very efficient (time efficent) haha and i got the low oil pressure light
so instantly suspicions of a blocked pick up pipe came about, and it was... very haha got that cleaned up and back on
sorry no photos of any of this, it was hailing/raining and we was laying in 2 inch puddles doing it all, also am sure you all know what a oil filter looks like
also on the way to Ste's my exhaust decided to brake in 2 :undecided:
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/bustexhaust.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/bustexhaust.jpg.html)
nothing a bit of heat wrap and tie wraps could not fix tho
No seriously though just ordered my 3" system so that should be here sharpish
-
Told you I could Fix the exhaust without removing/welding it
-
WOW been sooo busy helping golfyste with this track car this is the first time i have got chance to up date haha
so hope this all goes on in the right order
I got home from work and found this in the door way :D
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/exhaustbox.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/exhaustbox.jpg.html)
BOOM new exhaust, get in!
Had to drive around with it in my boot for a bit till me and Ste got chance to get fitting
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/uponjakspront.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/uponjakspront.jpg.html)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/uponjacks.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/uponjacks.jpg.html)
Ste recommended to heat wrap the exhaust to prevent rattling and somthing to do with keeping heat in the exhaust.., Ste care to explain?
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/steexhaustwrap.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/steexhaustwrap.jpg.html)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/exhastwrap2.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/exhastwrap2.jpg.html)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/exhaustwrap1.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/exhaustwrap1.jpg.html)
and the finished item :D
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/backofexhaust.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/backofexhaust.jpg.html)
had to cut out the rear bumper to accommodate the new exhaust and i'm planning on getting a mettle trim to sharpen the look up so will up date on that :)
p.s can i just say, the photo is misleading... my arm are in proportion with each other, my right ones just looking a bit smaller than usual there  haha
Also well the Sarge was up in the air
changed the plugs as the old ones was looking a little past there time :/
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/plugs.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/plugs.jpg.html)
Ste had a spare performance air filter knocking a round so wiped that in
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/upraitedairfilter.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/upraitedairfilter.jpg.html)
also i dint get any of photos of this but we took the rear shock and springs off and swopped them with some coilovers as my original ones are going on Ste's daily as its going to standard for selling, his off his daily are going on his track car hes building haha
-
Heat wrap is to keep the gasses hot to stop them slowing down as with you running Lower power the exhaust can be too big and the gasses can cool and slow fowl causing a restriction.
What's next on the list?
-
hahaha cheers buddy
and i believe it will be the forge 007p as soon as i get paid :
-
or 008p for an extra £10 haha
-
Just a little addition
Was driving home from work and noticed the temp was off the scale!
any way after a little searching i found out it was the water pump
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/brokenwaterpump.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/brokenwaterpump.jpg.html)
cant make my mind up, replaced it any way what you think lads  hahahahah
any way all parts came to £110 for belt kit and pump and golfyste fitted it for me so owe him one for that!
In other new my Forge 007p came
Got it off ebay second hand for £65 looks new and just had a servise so happy with that
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/007p2.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/007p2.jpg.html)
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/007p1.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/007p1.jpg.html)
Any one seen a bronze one before? personaly i think it look brill haha
-
So on goes the air filter!
I decided to go down the Honda S2000 line...
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/conefilter.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/conefilter.jpg.html)
Only problem is that dia on the MAF for the golf is aprox 70mm, and the dia on on the S2000 is 90mm
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/mafandconegap.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/mafandconegap.jpg.html)
so this is how i did it and i know Golfyste is dying to know how
Pretty simple to be honest
I got a big rubber washer i had nocking around in the garage
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/rubberring.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/rubberring.jpg.html)
fitted that round the MAF
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/mafwithring.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/mafwithring.jpg.html)
and boom 1 S2000 fits a golf mk4 MAF
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/coneonmaf.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/coneonmaf.jpg.html)
Then just bolted it back in
(http://i805.photobucket.com/albums/yy333/englandoftheworld/coneincar.jpg) (http://s805.photobucket.com/user/englandoftheworld/media/coneincar.jpg.html)
i wasent to trusting so i got some duct tape on there and also a tie wrap at the end of the filter to hold it in place , and it look pretty tidy :smug:
but still its not about the looks, its how it works right :D
will be getting a heat sheild and better cold air feed soon ;)
-
I didn't think you had useful things lying around! Normally need my garage for that haha
-
all righty then, not been around the car to much as i have been pretty busy, but were back on it and ready to get cracking
so i have done a few things since my last post, so this is what i have been getting up to
i put some blue led light in the doors with the help of Ste's wiring but they have broke after 6 month so looking for some better than the £3 ebay specials haha

got some new 18" alloys with the rubber for £270, bit of s bargain i reckon
(http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y409/rmills1993/alloys_zpsd812d2fa.jpg) (http://s1273.photobucket.com/user/rmills1993/media/alloys_zpsd812d2fa.jpg.html)
but the hub sizes was a bit different so had to get some sprigot rings as i had terrible wheel wobble
(http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y409/rmills1993/wheelwithoutsprigot_zpse7e9ee83.jpg) (http://s1273.photobucket.com/user/rmills1993/media/wheelwithoutsprigot_zpse7e9ee83.jpg.html)

(http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y409/rmills1993/oldtape_zps37f99ce6.jpg) (http://s1273.photobucket.com/user/rmills1993/media/oldtape_zps37f99ce6.jpg.html)
