Right every one having a few electrical issues with my 89 Gti, my CD player is wired into what I think is the standard wiring ie a group of four wires a red and brown a yellow and white and a grey and blue one is this some thing to do with the dash lights ????? What should this be wired to as its not connected in my car..... :cry:

usually..

Yellow - ignition power
Red - permanent power
Brown - earth
Blue/grey - dash lights/illumination (stereo lights go dim with lights on)
