Title: GTI 115BHP to GT TDI 130

Hi guys im new to the site and a complete novice when it comes to cars, ive currently got a mint 5 door GTI 115BHP in black which ive had for 3 and a half years now, however I want a GT TDI 130 now, is it possible to buy a GT TDI engine and fit it to my car? as I dont really want to sell it as I love car, its just not fast enough or very ecinomical.

If its possible do I need anything else other than the engine?

You want to go from a petrol with 115hp (assuming 2.0) to a diesel engine?
Do I understand correctly?

Lots

Fuel lines, ECU, brakes, hubs, driveshafts, gearbox etc etc off the top of my head

Sell yours, buy a TDI. Much cheaper and easier

As Rhys said sell it and buy a TDI much easier.
