Title: ABF sump torque settings

ive searched here and google but reading different things.

any one know the torque settings for the sump plug  and the sump bolts for ABF??

i have got a haynes but its with the car 13 miles away and dont wanna get over there to find its not in  the book.

yeah i saw that the plug was 40nm on that thread but also seen people say to do it at 30.

i hadent read the sump bolts thread but on others ive seen people say 20nm.

problem with the internet, so many different answers  :sad:

normally just do stuff up till i think its tight enough but with these bolts and plug i thought i would do it properly.

Autodata tells me the sump bolts should all be torqued to 20nm, whilst the sump plug must be torqued to 40nm..  :whistle:

now i seen numbers that are confirming others that ive seen.

no one likes a oil leak
