Title: Just bought a Golf GTI mk6

Hello all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Johnny from Newcastle and have just bought a Silver mk6 GTI 5 door.

Hopefully I will get lots of help and tricks from you all.

I previously had a Astra VXR Arctic edition and loved that but it came with lots of faults.

Hopefully the golf is less of a problem.

Welcome from another relative newbie.

You'll learn to love the Golf, it took me a while and I am smitten. It started with a Mk5 and now a Mk6. Hold on, I keep forgetting they are/were my wife's.......

Likewise had mine for approx 1 month and love it....mines 2010 GTI Grey.
Came from a few cars last performance one being classic Impreza tuned to 300bhp > golf not as quick but better all rounder, quality is second to none....certainly compared with my Scooby anyway.

I've had two MK6 GTIs so VW must've done something right!!
I do admire the looks and raw power of the VXR though :)
