Title: Black box cameras

Does anyone have any experience with using front and/or rear facing cameras?  The kind that record on a loop and, if they can, append gps data so you can prove you are not at fault if some cretin prangs you.

RoadHawk HD dashcam gets a good name for itself.
I've not got any personal experience of it though.
