I just ran through a quote with Adrian Flux.. online quoted me £730 with a possible further 20% off if I rang them, rang them and my quote went up to £1200... £300 more than what I am paying now

online insurers part of the Aviva group. They say cheap prices due to being online only insurers thus saving overhead costs on call centre staff

Im 19, 0 yrs NC, did a lot of research before buying. All of the specialist (Adrian Flux etc) quoted me upwards of £3500 for a Mk2 GTi, Went to Admiral, paid a straight £1000. Very happy.
Remember to put a few "responsible" named drivers on your policy. I added my mam and dad who both have full no claims and it brought the price down by a good £800. Even if they never drive it.
