So I took the golf out for the first time in about 2 months, its recently had a new battery and fuses.
It would now seem when I brake the car has developed a judder through the steering wheel
The judder is worse the harder I brake. If its a slow gentle break, there is no judder at all.
Any help would be great

Warped discs, loose driveshaft nut, wheel bolts

I would say warped discs.

Warped disc or sticking caliper

+1 on warped disc/s

thanks for the replies, how do I diagnose warped discs? should I be able to see something on them?

No, they only need to be marginally warped to get a wobble

You could use a dial test gauge see if they are warped
-
is it just a case of replacing the discs/pads?
