Title: K04 conversion parts list

My mate is converting his AUM to K04, I have used the search function but would still like some help please.


He has got:

KO4 turbo
4 injectors
Manifold
injector rail
Oil cooler
Oil feed pipes

what else will he need?

Engine Loom?

Who supplies K04 downpipes for golfs?

Don't need wire loom mate, down pipe look for a s3 down pipe, k04 tip, Fmic, and a trip to Rtech

Yep, Rods will be going in.

The car is in bits at the moment. I removed the head from it last week as it has a bad oil leak between the head and block.
He will be sourcing an AGU head to put on.

Since its all apart it would be rude not to upgrade.

He was selling the car but since finding a few problems with it he has decided to keep it and build it up again.

I will get some pictures of the progress.

Tbf if your going down the k04 + rods route you might aswell go all out to unleash full power and get

I have mentioned the relentless manifold to him, Not sure if he will listen though.

One question, What happens with the EGT sensor and wiring?
The k04 on my LCR has one fitted but how does this get wired into the golfs loom?
