Title: Air filter replacement?

Gonna be servicing my 16v very soon. Just wondering is it worth the extra expense of going for a k&n or pipercross air filter? Also does anyone have any favourite spark plugs?

K&n is reuseable just give it a wash. As for performance gains, maybe a wee bit more responsive

NGK plugs. Code is BCP7ET. Nothing to be gained from fancy expensive plugs
