Title: mk4 aum dial cluster mind of own

Well just today clocks gone nuts in center display area. My mpg average etc just doing what she wants. My current mpg even with engine off instead of - - - im getting random mpg figures.

Is this a sensor issue or more of a clock issue?

Oh fook. Ive akways wanted bora clocks too lol just didnt expect to get it em this soon lol. Anyone in yorkshire area who can code a set of clocks for me????? *help*

Im asuming wazzer im on immo2  so bora sports will work yes?

sounds like they might be repairable but it'd probably cost more than you could pick up a 2nd hand set of clocks for. Wherever you take it for coding remember to take all your keys with you, or you'll get home to find your spare key doesn't work anymore!

Amd am i right any immo3 will work on my 2001 Y plate aum?

I think you are immo3 mate, best way to check is to see what side your immo symbol is on.

You need VAG Tacho to extract the codes from the clocks and to change the mileage which VW can't do any more. Also immo3 swaps are a bit more involved as you need to match the ECU code to the clocks whereas immo2 to immo3 is quite easy and takes about five mins

Same as with the golfs AFAIK so if you want MTE make sure they are Immo3

ohhhh so i can buy immo 3 bora clocks? i dont need immo2 clocks. god this confusing lol so how can i tell what to buy if i want the super duper clocks that do everything ?
