I had one like that in my 1.8t mate was awesome. But was only 25 quid off the but just for noise
-
hehehe i want that nice air filter growl
-
I've tried so many filters on my golf, started with a carbon type tube with cold air feed (sounded ok but no good when mapped, cone inside is tiny) then went to the eBay one that goes behind the bumper, nice noise but not suitable due to rain lol
Then a cone directly on the MAF with heat shield, again sounded ok but the pssschhhh noise was too loud for me.
Then went BMC CDA on my stage 2 and it couldn't feed air fast enough, have now finally settled on a pipercross panel filter and DSG intake, miles better but no real noise
