I can't stop buying things fr my GTI!
In the last week I have bought a new head unit (RNS315), Carbonio induction kit, Eibach lowering springs, Boot open rams, Forum tax disc holder plus lots of other bits and bobs!
I desperately want some rear LED's too though, better check my piggy bank!

I think you have shown restraint, I'm sure some of could sew some further seeds ;)

Did the same... Eibachs, Carbonio, Blueflame TBE, Revo Stage 2, LED rears all within the first 8 months ownership.....easy way to spend £2k+
Want to do further chassis and brake upgrades but holiday and house purchases are currently coming first

When is the next meeting? Can I come along

IIRC I had approx £3k worth of bits sitting in the garage, months before my Mk6 turned up.
I just picked up a Mk5 too, and had 9 months and approx £5k worth of 'enhancements' sitting for that.
I will be joining Hurdy and Obbzi in the next round of meetings.
It can't be normal...surely?

Don't spend the kind of money you guys do, but I do buy a lot of detailing products to "try them out". Got all sorts of waxes, polishes, interior detailer, leather conditioner, tyre dressing, countless microfibre's, drying cloths, DA polisher, rotary polisher, lambswool wash mitts, wheel wash mitts and crevice cleaners, black trim wax - you name it, must have got over a grands worth in the garage.
Only thing I've bought to put in the car is some mats with the R logo on. [Don't do mods, I prefer standard] Oh, and a Richbrook titanium with carbon fibre back tax disc holder.

dont know what ive spent but it had a WALK, audi s3 gear linkage, miltek exhaust, pipercross filter and a remap within a month of getting the car new.
within 1 year its had WALK, remap, MILTEK, ITG maxogen CAI, bilstein B12, bump steer kit, rear ARB, and some other crap i cant remember. probably a few grand spent on it. the suspension was well worth the money though i reckon.
maybe i should have just bought a megane 265 or r26r in the first place....

Same here. No mods, but spending increasing sums on detailing products and this forum only exacerbates my habit
Won't stop though

Im addicted to detailing as well have way too much stuff at the moment and keep buying more.
but as soon as my warranty runs out i think i will look into making the steering heavier and then anti roles and suspension. then after that i think a revo tune is in order. so will happily rob ideas for everyones build threads.
