It certainly does. But for me it has to be the carbon steel grey, which you can see in the German review video. I posted the link in the "New GTI reviews" thread.

Just watched that video and it is a great colour - don't see it as an option on the VW UK Website though?
Now I am thinking the black that I have chosen won't show the plastic blade type things up at the front. I'm thinking switch to white (or the grey in this video, if it were an option) and add keyless entry with the money saved.

It's in the brochure so can be ordered.
The website is a bit hit and miss.

Yep, just to re-clarify, you can order the carbon. If I were going for a GTD or any other Golf, that would be my colour of choice. However, in GTI-guise, it just has to be either Black, Red or White! For me, white makes all of the design features and accents stand out far better than any other colour, and it's a doddle to keep clean!
