Title: When do reviews start on GTD?

Doesnt help having the ed35 which is of course quite an old lump so no where near as good on fuel as the normal GTI

When they do come out, fingers crossed they're good. It does share a common set up with the GTI; Progressive Steering, MQB Chassis, Lowered Suspension and XDS+ (aka XDS sport). So, I'm hoping its going to be promising. I know it's gonna be heavier over the nose [than the GTI] so I'm hopeful it won't effect cornering/handling too much. Be interesting to see if its a big leap forward form the Mk6 GTD.

I agree with this. Evo mag reviews are irrelevant IMO as its all about the track performance for them which isn't the real world.

Add VW refinement and you will have a very stable package.

I think this has been copied and translated from one of the German mags. I have seen this review somewhere else but can't find it.

Time to calm down and be patient.....GTD reviews will be all the better for having to wait.
I wonder if the mk7 GTD will eventually actually overtake the GTI for build volume?????

Ok, not going to be in GTi class performance wise but no slouch either and looked pretty damn good in that video which was maybe over long but very professionally done

Still many months off but sadly tagged, replaced any missing covers and converted my Itunes to an SD Card last night in anticipation

It's serious stuff :wink: lots of research, details and preparation are part of the whole process :smiley:

Only have a 8GB (10) card and got all my 6GB of music on there and all the UK DAB station logos too so unless have the PRO and can play movies or have 1000's of high data music files not sure what else could put on a 64GB card?!
