hi guys just wondering if anyone knows what a mk3 in matt black with blue colour concept interior would like before i go and guy them lol, would it look stupid? my golf looks like this http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=251332.0

I hate matt black just looks grubby no offence black and blue goes well but not as much as black and red

its matt black atm using it as a base for the santorini black i have :) been offered a set of blue ones for under 200 thought it was a bargin :)

Its your car mate. I would go for plain black leather. I got my mint set for £120 :cool:

i have a set of mulberrys in it at the mo but i like the colour concept seats but i cant find a black set of them cheap :(

I have cream leather interior i think it went well with the green car i think it will look good with black theres nothing wrong with the one colour seats i know the colour concept seats look sporty with the middle a different colour but the blue is a bit to in your face for my liking i like the one colour seats they look more classey

the whole seat is a differernt style there recaro and alot bigger and in my opinion alot comfier, the black ones are all one colour i would love a set if i could find some cheap enough

wait ive looked at them on ebay they look exactly the same as leather one colour recaro they just coloured cant be smany different as mine are also heated

my apologies they are different slightly less wider the concepts are i would get a decent set of leathers its hard to find a decent set on ebay most of them are abused seats espcially if fat people have been in them makes the leather stretch and rip

I totally agree, the CCs are superb seats, very supportive and the bolsters are tight as hell, I would hang on and wait for a good set to come up Willz if you can, they are well worth the money if you're gonna keep the car...expect to pay between £300-£450 though for a mint interior, perhaps a bit less if you don't include doorcards which I think look a bit naff anyhow, I kept the dark grey doorcards in mine as they were unmarked and had never been removed, couldn't be bothered breaking the clips, risking ripping the cards etc.
Try and find a set that have been regularly treated too as the leather will show less cracking
Those FleBay seats in Liverpool have been on there for ages, they're overpriced and don't look that great either from the pics

I would not pay that much for them. Like I said I paid £120 and mine are way nicer. Maybe I was lucky. Those CC ones don't look that great either from that pic if I am honest

Why not get some grubby ones cheap (if available) and retrim the middle to alacantra or something? Half leather cc seats :smiley:

the middle is never to bad its the sides and bolsters that rip

Well I paid £500 for a complete driveable car (did have a small fault) took out what I wanted, put in a standard GTi interior (my original) and sold car for £450 and also had a black leather interior to sell. :grin: :smug:
It was the only way I was ever going to get what I wanted.
