hello all, just noticed an oil leak coming out of the round top housing on top of the box?? :undecided: what do i need to change and how do i undo the housing to get to the leak. any help advice is appreciated, cheers

there's an o-ring in there.... cheap fix
which engine code is it and do you have water pipes going from water pump to the filter flange?
with that info can give you part number for the o-ring

It could be the housing retaining nut is loose. You'll have to take the filter off to get to it, it's the nut on the threaded shaft that the filter itself screws onto.

i took the filter off, and the nut that holds the box was slightly loose so i tighten it. put the filter back, started the car but the oil was still leaking but not as bad as it was before tightening the nut. So took the filter out back again, took the nut off, took the O ring off and there were slight few cuts on the inside circle of the O ring so I believe needs new ring.
Also part number would be great
there are 2 small coolant hoses connected to the box as far as i can see
