Title: RNS 510 maps problem

I haven't used my SatNav much but I noticed on a journey last year that the map had frozen on the location where it was turned on, I did a soft reboot by pressing the 3 buttons at the top and that cured it. I hardly used it after that until recently; now the map freezes every time at the location you turn on at and doesn't update; I've done the soft reboot but this time it's not curing the problem. The system knows where I am because the MFD Nav display and the voice guidance is correct, also displays speed limits.  Done a bit of research on the Web and apparently it's a known problem on some units, anyone else had this?
According to what I read VW have produced a software fix so will contact dealer today and enquire.
