Gentlemen

I have heard that the DSG gearbox oil should be changed every 40,000 miles, do you agree with that?

Yes, oil and filter change at 40k miles or sooner if highly modified.

Its a must! The DSG is a funny and fussy electro mechanical system.

Don't skimp on it unless you want to fork for a new mech unit.
